Digital maturity assessment

The process of scoring a company against a digital maturity model to identify its current stage and the specific gaps holding it back.

A maturity assessment is the practical companion to a maturity model. It typically involves scoring the organization across several dimensions, technology, data, organizational structure, and customer experience among them, and comparing that score against where peers in the same stage typically sit. Accelerating Your Digital Vision, the second installment in Master B2B’s maturity series, is built around exactly this: once a company knows its stage from an assessment, the report maps how to move from securing budget and executive buy-in to executing quickly. A good assessment surfaces where a company is further along than it assumes and, more usefully, where it is further behind.
